| | Tea ceremony at Ellenville Public Library and Museum

Our tea ceremony volunteers served Matcha tea to 26 guests, whose ages were ranged from young children to adults/senior citizens. The introduction helped the audience, whom never had thin Matcha tea before, to get an idea what tea ceremony is. Bitter Matcha teas were hard to drink up for some, but all enjoyed homemade cookies. | | エレンビル図書館でのお茶実演

図書館の依頼で茶道部のボランティアたちがエレンビル地域の26人の参加者たちに裏千家の薄茶平点前を実演しました。お点前を実際に見るのも正座して参加するのも初めての人には、茶道が何かを掻い摘む事ができたようです。抹茶をはじめて飲まれたかたには苦味に抵抗もあったようですが、手作りのお茶菓子は大変好評でした。 | |
