| | The first Tanka-no-Kai of the year 2013 took place on March 30, 1:30 - 3:30pm at Chikako-san's home.
There were seven participants in total and presented with their own tanka, which then received comments and suggestions from Chikako -san for the better presentations for the next time.
Chikako-san mentioned that Japanese language is wonderful in that it has the capacity to express Sound, Smell, Wind, Four seasons, etc. and that she is grateful of being Japanese.
After the Tanka-no-Kai, we had chatted over tea and it was a perfect chance for everyone to familiarize with one another.
It's always the same member, and so as a way for the members to enjoy the organizational events, whether or not you are interested in Tanka itself, why not join for these Tanka-no-Kai? I feel that your sense of life begins to change. We look forward to seeing you.
The next Tanka-no-Kai is scheduled for Saturday, June 29. | | 3月30日、午後1；30～3；30まで千佳子さん宅で2013年第一回の短歌の会が催されました。
7人が出席し、それぞれ詠まれた句を発表し、千佳子さんに添削のご指導をいただき、今後、句を読むときの参考になったと思います。
千佳子さんは、日本語では音、匂い、風、四季など色々なことを言葉で表現できる日本語は素晴らしく、これを大切にして、日本人であることに喜びを持つことだとのお話がありました。
短歌会の後、茶話会があり、和気あいあい皆さん方と親睦を図る良い機会となりました。
いつも同じ顔ぶれなので、会員の方の楽しみの一つとして、短歌に興味ある方、無い方もどしどし参加されませんか。きっと人生観が変わって来ますよ。お待ちしています。
