| | On February 1st, 2014, we had luncheon party at Atsuko san's residence. It was originally scheduled for January 25th, however, due to the inclement weather, the date was changed.
The party was proposed by Atsuko Shimojo san. Because the number of seats that can be accommodated was limited, the reservation was on a first-come-first-served basis. And the fee was $20.00 per person.
The members attended were Mr. and Mrs. Mori, Ms. Yoko Sitko, Ms. Akiko Fujimori, Mr. & Mrs. Harris and Mr. and Mrs. Onuma.
The luncheon was served in full course, starting with Zensai, Hashi-yasume, Nimono, assorted Maguro Sushi and Sashimi platter, Chawan-mushi, Salmon kasujiru, and Pumpkin yokan for desert.
Everybody enjoyed the delicious feast and conversation very much that the time flied right by.

この昼食会は篤子さんの発案により参加費一人20ドルで催されたものでした。残念なことに、座席数に制限があり、申し込み順ということで、参加者は、森夫妻、ヨーコSitkoさん、アキコ藤森さん、Mr. & Mrs. Harris、大沼夫婦の8名でした。
料理は、前菜から始まり、箸やすめ、メインのマグロ寿司、刺身盛り付け、椀物、茶碗蒸し、鮭の粕汁、最後にパンプキンの羊羹で締めるというフルコースのランチパーティーでした。
出席者全員、美味しい料理に舌鼓を打ち、会話もはずみ時間を忘れ楽しい会となりました。 | |
