| | On August 11, 2017, members of the Mid-Hudson Japanese Community Association and friends attended a Medicare information event hosted by the Office for the Aging at the Business Resources Center, 1 Development Court, Kingston. Eleanor Minsky, the Office for the Aging's Medicare Outreach Coordinator gave the presentation. Options, selection of Medicare programs were well presented as well as other programs offered
by the office. Participants were very pleased to find out solutions suited for their cirsumstances as we all get older and we will be
in under those government programs sooner or later. The preparation helps us to take in charge of our lives.
Future presentations in various counties MHJCA members, friends reside are considered by MHJCA.
Refreshments at the event were provided by MHJCA.

説明会を受けました。 会場となった、キングストンのビジネスリソースセンターには、会員、友人の７名が出席し、詳細、丁寧な解説に、質疑応答を
含め約１時間半学びました。 この国で生活を営む私達、高齢になるにつけ、準備が必要となり、このセミナーは正確な情報が得られることが分かりました。
MHJCAでは今後とも各カウンティのオフィスを通じ、同様な説明会をもうけたいと考えています。
