Event Album: Calligraphy Workshop #1: 01/21/2018
Event Note

At the Kakizome, the First Writing of the Year, the “writing” is not only the main purpose but also what you would write is as important since traditionally it is when you are to write YOUR New Year’s Resolution though you can, of course, write anything you want. However, commonly you’d think of your “goal” at the beginning of new year so now you have an opportunity to express your decision on a large Washi-paper with a large Fude-brush just to remind yourself how strong your determination is. I’m sure the work of the participants are showing them all. I just want to remind you all, however, that the most important thing is “to achieve your goal”, of course.
