Event Description

Flower Arrangement Workshop

It was a beautiful Summer day when we had the last class of the year.

The materials were day lilies, black-eyed-Susans, pink wild flowers, hosta, yuanamus, etc. We use whatever we can find around our yards; practically anything could be our materials. We use some of the potted ones. All the yard materials are good as they are fresh and cute. Even the weeds are good materials. But we should use some of the fancy ones now and then for change. On these hot days we arrange flowers to keep us cool by showing more water and less materials. It always feels more peaceful and with appreciation for what we have; and our surroundings. Comfort and flowers go well together.

Thank you, Suzumi Adams
