The Mid-Hudson Japanese Community Association (MHJCA) is a non-profit organization created and supported by dedicated individuals/ families and professionals. MHJCA members are residents of the Hudson Valley Region of New York State (Dutchess, Ulster, Orange, Putnam and surrounding counties) who have an interest in Japanese Culture, how it interact and intertwines with others, and wish to share that interest with all who live around us.

Membership is opened to those of any ancestry, as long as there is a sincere interest in the Japanese cross-cultural mission. Currently the MHJCA offers educational and cultural enrichment programs aimed to both children and adults in the Hudson Valley region. We also offer to our members and friends social events and workshops such as luncheons, holiday celebrations, crafts, cooking demonstration, calligraphy and some more.
