  • 9/10 (Sat) 1pm-3:30pm Nodate Tea Ceremony at Innisfree Garden 362 Tyrrel Rd. (off US44), Millbrook: up to 60 seats available for reservation - Admission $10 for MHJCA members & $15 for the general public (including parking fee, tea & dessert). Please make a reservation via email at office@innisfreegarden.org. You'll receive an instruction how to make a payment to Innisfree Garden.

    *** This will be a wonderful opportunity for you all to enjoy Matcha tea in the environment of natural beauty of Asian influenced garden. Please note, anyone can observe the ceremony without a reservation though you'd still have to pay for parking fee at the entrance. Rain date will be 9/18 (Sun). ***

  • 9/25 (Sun) 1pm-4pm Spirit of Beacon Day Festival "One River, Many Streams Folk Festival", Main Street, Beacon: We'll have Origami booth at the corner of Main & Cedar Street from 2pm to 4pm following parade starts at 1pm. Open to public. Rain date will be 10/2 (Sun).
 
We Offer

The Association welcomes inquiries from schools and libraries for Cultural Enrichment Presentations. The program lasts about 2 hours, and include information knowledge on Japan and its culture as well as hands-on experiences. The MHJCA is happy to arrange a visit to your site for a presentation.
